Meet Your Guides for an Amazing Yoga Vacation in Mexico:
Neesha brings 20 years of yoga and dance experience to her classes. She teaches a life-affirming philosophy that is based in a heart-centered approach to an elegant set of biomechanical alignment principles.
Neesha began her Anusara® studies with Margot Snowdon in 1999 and studied with its founder, John Friend for nine years. Neesha’s teaching has taken her around the globe several times. She owns Akasha Yoga in Jackson Hole, Wyoming and is a featured instructor on YogaToday.
Neesha’s teaching focuses on empowering others to find these same sources of health, happiness, and renewal through detailed knowledge of the body and the steady work of paying attention. Learn more about Neesha here.
Adi Amar has been a student of yoga since she was 15 years old. She believes the practice of yoga is the teacher, and she strives to inspire a passion for regular sadhana. She has studied and taught extensively within the broad scope of Hatha Yoga.
Her strong Vinyasa (flow) classes focus on mindfulness and structural integration, while integrating the spiritual and philosophical teachings of yoga. Adi is registered with the Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 500 teacher. She offers group classes, intensives and teacher trainings at Teton Yoga Shala, her studio in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. Mar de Jade
Mar de Jade is a Yoga, Wellness & Vacation Retreat Center nestled between the tropical jungle and the pristine sandy beach of Chacala, México. It is an intimate place offering groups and individuals a relaxing, supportive, and inspiring environment in a peaceful fishing village.
Chacala is a peaceful fishing village, its name means “where there are shrimp” in Náhuatl, and it is part of the beautiful coastline known as Riviera Nayarit. It’s found along Mexico’s Tropical Pacific Coast, about 90 min. north of popular tourist destination Puerto Vallarta; 3 hours west of Guadalajara; and 2 hours south of Tepic.
It is located on the south end of Chacala Beach, Nayarit, Mexico. Chacala has one of the most pristine beaches along the coastline; soft golden sand lined with coconut trees and palapa (thatched-roof) restaurants. The town still retains an unhurried lifestyle and the locals are very friendly and welcoming.

Choose Your Room for the Yoga Retreat:
Ocean Rooms are bright and airy, with floor-to-ceiling glass doors opening onto a private balcony with an Ocean view. Comfortable and well appointed, each room has a sitting area with a futon that can accommodate up to two children; some have the futon in a space separated by a door for added privacy. All have bathtubs and some have a separate shower as well. Most are on third and fourth floors and require steps to climb.
A/C | 1 King Bed or 2 Doubles
Garden Rooms are comfortable and tastefully decorated, some crafted in a Mexican style, with natural rock, hand painted mosaics and tropical mahogany wood finishes; while others have an airy Mediterranean feel with floor-to-ceiling windows that let in plenty of natural light and fresh breeze. Each room has a terrace with a view of our lush tropical gardens; a spacious bathroom with bathtub and some have a separate shower. Located on the ground floor, these rooms are easy to access either with a few steps or with a ramp.
A/C | 1 King Bed or 2 Double Beds
Guest Room with Loft
The Guest Room with Loft accommodations are a more basic yet spacious option for families or 3 to 4 roommates. The bottom level has a king bed (or two twins) and a bathroom; the loft is accessed by a spiral staircase and has two twin beds (or a king). They all have garden or jungle views. The loft is not recommended for children under 6 yrs old or people with mobility issues. Minimum occupancy is 3 people.
