Brantley Sydnor
Brantley was raised in Central Virginia and graduated from James Madison University with a B.A. in Sociology. In 2006, she moved to Jackson and embarked on a decade-long career in office management. In 2017, Brantley spent three months in Central America where she earned her 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training certificate certification from It’s Yoga Nicaragua.
Inspired to share her experience of incorporating yoga into her addiction recovery program, Brantley developed a 12 step yoga flow called “Zenity Now”. She finds that a holistic approach to recovery, nurturing the mind, body and spirit, greatly aids in relapse prevention.
Her aim is to create a welcoming space for students to explore the complementary spiritual practices of yoga and the 12 steps of recovery.
