Kristen Matheson began her yoga journey in 2009. She was drawn to yoga for the physical movement and community and then discovered its opportunities for deeper shifts and transformations.
Kristen’s ever curious mind has taken her down many paths in her pursuits of yoga and wellness knowledge. She is a 500-hour certified yoga teacher, Ayurvedic health counselor, woman’s health advisor, yoga retreat leader, and workshop/event facilitator. With additional certifications in aerial yoga, yin yoga, restorative yoga, Thai massage, Tantra meditation, herbal medicine, postpartum doula care, and schooling in Traditional Chinese Medicine, she loves creating and melding the unexpected. She draws from her experience holding a Master’s Degree in Curriculum & Instruction to masterfully design impactful yoga classes, 1:1 client sessions, programs, and events.
With a passion for living life to its fullest and savoring the magic in every day, she guides others in cultivating a life of intention and meaning, steeped in holistic wellness. Her classes are infused with intention and a gentleness that invites students to show up on their mats and unravel the true nature of their hearts & spirit.
When not teaching, Kristen enjoys wandering in the wilderness, cuddling her handsome chocolate lab, Cooper, indulging in dessert (especially donuts), and finding new adventures to challenge herself…like traveling and jumping from perfectly good planes.
