Join Kyla for a workshop focused Ayurveda for mountain winter living on January 1, 2025 and start your new year with some health promoting tools.
Ayurveda, the “science of life”, is an ancient system of healing and living from India. It offers a holistic approach to life by addressing the body, mind, emotions and spirit. Its basic principles help us understand our true nature and health, recognize imbalances, and restore our unique state of health. Ayurveda also teaches how the qualities of seasons and climates influence our well-being.
In this workshop, we will explore the foundational principles of Ayurveda and how to apply them to discover your personal path to health and balance. Gain insights into how winter seasonal changes and your living environment impact your wellness, and leave with practical tools to bring greater harmony into your daily life.
Kyla has been practicing yoga since she was 14. She is thankful for her early teachers Angela Tong and Adi Amar for sparking an interest in yoga. In the spring of 2020, she received her 200-hour teacher certification in Yoga on the Inside. She is very thankful for the support of her teachers Eddie Modestini and Kristin Bosteels and for their guidance which allowed her to experience how yoga can create physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual change.
Kyla strongly believes that yoga instruction can help students mindfully develop their practices, helping them to ignite their own inner teachers. She continues to develop her own personal practice through her studies with Eddie and Kristin.
"Kyla is a wealth of knowledge on this subject and all things yoga! Anyone who gets to experience this series will be so happy they did!" –Kristin Bosteels
"I was lucky enough to have Kyla Schell as my instructor. She was absolutely excellent in all capacities. She offered insight I hadn't heard before. She described every movement to the tee. She showed us each move precisely. From someone who is a perpetual beginner, I was thoroughly impressed. She encouraged my capabilities that I didn't know I had." --Rachel K.
